Introducing Sphere Commerce On Demand For Gated Facilites

Through its Sphere Technology Platform, SP+ is introducing a new touchless entry process for gated facilities. With the implementation of Sphere Commerce On Demand for gated facilities, daily parkers will now be able to enter and exit the facility through the use of the Parking.com mobile app, eliminating the need to pull a ticket. Beginning in February, monthly parkers will also be able to access the garage though the Parking.com app. Until then monthly parkers will continue to access the garage as they do today.

Parking.com Mobile App Is Required

In order to take advantage of the new touchless access parkers will need to download the parking.com app and become a registered user by creating an account. 

Step 1 – Download the Parking.com app by visiting the Google Play or Apple App store.  (we should include links to download the app).  I would include the Google Play and Apple App Store logos.  

Step 2 – Once you have downloaded the parking.com app – open the app, select My Account from the menu and click Sign-Up.  Then simply follow the instructions for setting up your account.

Entering the Facility

To use the touchless on demand access method as a registered user at the facility you need to follow a few simple steps. 

Step 1 – When entering the facility, please ensure the Bluetooth on your phone is active and have the parking.com app open and visible on your phone. 

Step 2 – As you enter the following will appear on your phone:

your phone is active and have the parking.com app open and 
visible on your phone.

Users without Parking.com Accounts

Some facilities may provide non-register user access to the facility through Sphere Commerce On Demand guest access. If you are planning to have guests or visitors that are not registered users of Parking.com, they will need to access the garage through one of our guest/visitor methods.

Step 1 – Upon entering the facility please access parking.com via phone or text message. The phone and text numbers will be listed on the sign at the entrance.

Step 2 – As you enter the following will appear on your phone:

Step 3 – Upon exiting the facility the signs at the exit will instruct the parker to phone or text to end their parking session.
