Welcome to Metropolis Parking!
The RSM Plaza parking facility is located in the heart of Downtown Minneapolis. There are 9 upper parking garage levels, A (skyway) – J with cameras in each elevator lobby for security to monitor and assist as needed.
RSM Plaza is powered by Metropolis. With Metropolis, quickly link your vehicle to a credit card and you can just drive in and drive out – we’ll text you your receipt. You can create an account in advance of your visit here. If you don’t sign up before you arrive, you will need to scan the QR codes posted in the garage. Please note that there are no access cards or tickets utilized at this facility and it is strictly a license plate reading technology.
Parking Entrances: There are two entrances, one located on Marquette Avenue, and the other located on 8th Street. Both entrances are near 8th and 9th streets, and Marquette Avenue.
- Marquette Entrance: 800 S Marquette Avenue, Minneapolis, MN 55402
- Eighth Street Entrance: 81 S Eighth St, Minneapolis, MN 55402
In order to better serve you, we wanted to remind you of a few things about your parking contract with Metropolis and RSM Plaza.
RSM Plaza has two garages. The upper garage is for public parking as well as contract parking. The lower garage is only for contract parking and requires a building access card to gain elevator access to the garage. We have staff on-site to assist with any issues exiting from 7am- 6pm.
There are two entrances for the upper garage. One is on 8th street and the other is on Marquette Avenue. The entrance on Marquette says “Public Parking”. The upper garage exits onto Marquette no matter what entrance you use. Marquette Avenue is a one way street with bus lanes going the opposite direction. If you are exiting you should turn left.
The upper ramp has a total of eight floors A – J. Gates for each floor close when the limit of parked cars is reached. Please proceed up for available parking. If you don’t find a spot on the floor you enter you will be directed out and need to re-enter the ramp to find a spot. If you are exiting to re-enter please use caution.
The clearance for the upper ramp is 6’ 5”. please note that areas labeled “Caution” will usually have a lower clearance than stated at the entrance.
The entrance and exit for the lower garage is on Marquette Avenue and it shares the entrance with the dock. The sign that says “Deliveries/Contract Parking” is for the lower level garage. Please use caution and take the right turn to the gate.

Please remember to remove your valuables, lock your vehicle, and take your keys with you. Please email rsmparking@spplus.com if your vehicle will be on the ramp for more than 48 hours.
Each contract provides you with parking for one vehicle at a time in the garage. Violation of this could result in loss of parking privileges in the garage. Motorcycles are not permitted within the facility.
All payments are due on the 1st of the month through your subscription. If the payment has not gone through by the 7th your subscription will be cancelled and you will be charged the daily rate.
