Metropolis is an innovative way to make parking easier. The technology recognizes vehicles automatically so guests simply drive in and drive out.

With Metropolis Technology, you will not have to worry about keeping track of a physical ticket. Once you have registered, you will simple drive in, receive a confirmation text and drive out.

You will need to keep your ticket and exit through a cashier lane.

No, if you have a prepaid parking reservation you do not need to register with Metropolis to park. However, all travelers without a prepaid parking reservation only have to register once per vehicle to park on site at the airport.

Your receipt will be sent to you via text after you exit the parking facility.

At Dayton International Airport, we are committed to providing accessible parking for all of our customers. While we no longer offer special rates for vehicles with handicap license plates, we are proud to extend discounted parking rates to disabled veterans as part of our ongoing support for those who have served. Additionally, all DAYrider courtesy shuttles are lift-equipped to ensure safe and easy transportation to and from the terminals. We appreciate your understanding and strive to make your experience as convenient and comfortable as possible.

Disabled Veterans (DV) with a valid license plate or hang tag are eligible for a 10% discount on daily parking rates in all DAY lots.

Contactless time stamping

We’ll send you a text message when you enter and exit the facility. Your parking session is automatically charged to your credit card after exiting.

Just scan one of the Metropolis QR codes in the parking facility with your phone’s camera.

Then, just follow the prompts in the app – you’ll need a credit card and your license plate number.

Just finished a parking visit at a Metropolis location?

At the end of your visit, Metropolis will automatically send your parking receipt through a text message or notification. To access the receipt, either tap on the link in the message or notification or log in to the Metropolis web or iOS app and open your recent visits.
